how do you drop the transmission pan on a 1994 GMC Sonoma?

im trying to drop my transmission pan i have it all unbolted but my exhaust is in the way and the bolds are to tight to get the exhaust off. my pan is literally a centimeter away from being lose from the exhaust. any tips will help

my only tip is to buy a new pan with a drain bolt for the next time

i had the same issue with my yukon and had to put the pan back on and take it to a shop to remove the cross member. since pan is almost off mabye you could get a hand pump and pump the fluid out by hand and clean the pan and magnet by hand

I bought a replacement pan with a drain plug for $69 at 1Aauto.com and change it myself easily now
