Hi, can anyone help with an assignment I have:
Given material (brass, aluminium, steel, etc), material thickness, diameter and height, how can I calculate what the expected amplitude and pitch / frequency of a bell?
In summary, I need to make a bell that's made of aluminium and between 20-25mm in diameter as low a frequency and as loud as possible when struck.
