how come in twilight they changed the car to a black SUV that doesnt make sense?

in twilight it was a silver volvo like its supposed to be and then they changed it completely and didnt even explain why??
yea but in the books its a silver volvo sports car, ...so for him to change it means hes not keeping it like the books at all...and he said himself that he is going to keep it as true to the books as possible...so is he lying? and a black SUV isnt fast either....

Well I haven't seen the movie but I can bet you this is the answer

free cars=free
if someone gives you cars as long as you put them in the movie then free cars also =good
