I purchased a Sony DRU-840A DVD 20x internal burner that came with Nero 7 Express/Essentials. After the Nero expired, I downloaded CDBurnerXP and ImgBurn. They are better than Nero and very compact, but although I can burn anything very quickly and easily, I can't play any DVDs or CDs. The Nero Showtime was the part of the program that made it possible to view the Dvds and cds. ....I think (I never used it). What do I do to make it so I can play the cds and dvds? I feel like an idiot for even asking this, but I uninstalled the Nero, and now, I am bewildered. I keep reading forums, positing questions to Google, and I am getting nowhere.
