honda 300 ex wont start?

my quad will not start because my friend left its battery on for the whole night... its green light was on untill i tried to charge it but i accidentally put the negative clamp on the positive side and the green light went off does anyone know what i could do because now it wont even start at all and no matter how many times i take it out and put it in nuetral it wont start
rlly need some help
well when you say pull the battery u mean take it completely out? or just take it out of the holder?

you either blew the fuse or toasted the battery pull the battery and hook it up to the charger the green light should come on it wont start but the charger should give enough juice to turn the light on
