Help needed with burning DVD's?

I burnt some holiday video's from 'My Video's' - they are on good quality DVD's but when I put the DVD into the DVD player, it is telling me that there is nothing on the disc.

However, when I put the disc into the computer, it plays the video with sound.

What am I doing wrong as I want to clear the filming's off of the SD Card before we go on holiday.

HELP!!!!! please.
