help..my future bf is telling me lie..what should i do?

ok...i have this guy friend..
we are like close and a planning to take our relationship
one step forward..as a couple..
the problem is that..i just knew that the story he told me most of it are lie..
what am i supposed to do??
i sort of hate him now??
should i just stop moving and stay as a friend with him..
or what?
