Most of mine were from the back of comics when I was little. Itching powder, laxative sugar lumps and bird warblers promised much and rarely delivered * sigh*.

My friend's family suffered similarly when she was little. She remembers her Mum frying Eggs wearing Wellies and a rain hood. Good luck.
