Porsche has a special version of the Cayenne called the Cayenne GTS. In performance terms is sits between the Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo. It is unique in that it comes standard with a manual transmission where the S and the turbo only come in automatic. I dont see the GTS version as being available on the Porsche website.

The GTS is gone, it was a LIMITED edition of only 1000 units (only 100 for USA), you only have automatics now

You can use a car performance simulator to virtually take any Cayenne (or any oher car) and see how it performs with any mod you want to do, try at http://www.nxgtrsim.com

The normal Cayenne GTS was NOT a limited production model (as stated above)...that was the Porsche Design model specifically with the 1,000 unit manufacture number...the GTS was a wide production model (and was essentially an aero kit addition with a 6-speed manual option.

The GTS model has not stopped production, but it has not been released in the 3rd generation yet (and will most likely come with the 2012 refresh of the model anyways). From what i've read, the 6-speed manual is probably on it's way out (but it is available on all of the Cayenne models as optional equipment now).

To add...the manual transmission in the GTS was not a favored option. Go to 6-speed.net and check out the Cayenne forums, of the people who actually bought the GTS, many of them drove the manual optioned model before purchase and nearly all of them said the transmission felt sluggish and underwhelming compared to the rest of the drivetrain/motor setup. It's kind of like the manual option on the E60 M5's...it seems like a pretty good idea until you realize the car is just too much for a standard transmission, and the technology within the "auto" tranny is a much better fit for the car itself.
