Does my bittorrent have a virus ?

Everytime i download a torrent after it finished it my vlc said " the format is undf. nothing you can do to fix it" back then everything was fine but now i can't download any torrent anymore. It's an avi video btw but vlc claimed it's undf. Help ?! How can i fix it ? Everyone seems fine with the torrent.

Have you always been able to download and play avis?Try a different media plaer and make sure you have the proper codecs
