Compaq Presario F700 AMD Athlon X2 64, nvidia chipset and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 installed. The problem is that after a while the laptop started to boot really slow. It was staying on the BIOS logo for ages, after that it was fine and fast. However I read a little bit and discovered that if I remove the DVD module it is running perfectly fast and without boot delay. Well I can't figure out where is the problem - the DVD module, or the motherboard??? I just want to know because I hate the hole of missing module and wanna buy a new one if that seems to be the problem. Thank you.
