Just brought my self a 2000 (W) Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTR
It only came with one key when i brought it so i had another transponder key cut at Timpsons in shrewsbury sainbury's the key did'nt fit the door lock so took it back and they filed it down tryed again but still dodgy so they gave me a non transponder key witch i tryed in the ignition and it started up fine for a few days (Timpsons did not say to use the non transponder key in the ignition)
few day later tryed to start the car had the original key in the ignition but out the blue wound'nt start
so called my mechanic who came to the car he said his computer was not letting him see information from the ecu hes also confirmed there was'nt any power on the fuel pump and injectors
i have had the car taken to a specialist who reapire french car had it put on there camputer and still
cant access information on the ecu
i also rang the last owner who told me the car had a second hand ecu fitted but didnt say when
all im looking for is a little help as im pulling my hair out!!!
Timpsons have said they will pay for the damage if the problem is down to us witch im not sure would they be at fault from what ive put?? or could there be a problem with car leading to me getting a big bill
