Some analysts fear Chinese electric-vehicle makers have built up production facilities so quickly they now have twice as much manufacturing capacity as that country’s domestic market can handle. In other words, China, which has traditionally used exports to grow its economy, may now need a massive expansion in its EV exports just to keep its car industry afloat. No wonder our Yankee friends are excreting those proverbial bricks.
