Chad Johnson’s NFL career may be over. And, honestly, he deserves this ugly end to what otherwise was a fine football career. After getting arrested for headbutting his wife, the Miami Dolphins did the right thing and released the aging wide receiver.
Evelyn Lozada, Johnson’s wife who came to fame as a reality star, was headbutted so hard that she reportedly suffered a three-inch cut. When the police found Johnson, the former NFL star claimed that he was the one who got headbutted. Uh, no, Chad, that’s not how it works.
I really don’t think any team is going to sign Johnson any time soon. He’s just not very good anymore and dealing with this type of drama isn’t worth his limited upside.
