I have a 15" car sub in a ported enclosure that I picked up off a friend for about $100. It sounded amazing in his van when he had it.
I need a home theater sub, so I'm thinking of buying a $100-ish pro audio amp (such as a Pyle Pro) and hooking it up to this subwoofer.
My question for you: will this be worth the $100, and how good will such a sub sound in a home theater? Or should I just sell off the sub and buy a $200 "home theater" sub instead?
