My car (1997 Dodge Avenger ES) had a dead short with an amp wire being eaten through and touching the hood. The car went all crazy, gauges jumping, dash lights flashing, tranny went into limp mode. Now, after I got the car home, it won't start. Any suggestions? Maybe replacing the computers? The starter seems to spin just a little faster than normal, im not positive but it seems that way. the starter is also whining and making a weird sound but i know that its turning the motor because the acc. belt spins. any help would be great.
