I'm setting up a large tank and went to a few pet stores and Walmart and Target and they want a ton of money for even just dinky, neon-colored tank plants.
I'm trying to set up a betta sorority in a 10 gallon tank and need hiding spots. I have a few caves and some fake coral they can go behind. But I would like something that at least resembles plant life.
I was thinking of taking the stringed kind (not loose) and anchoring it in a corner. I'd run or submerge it underwater to make sure any loose pieces were off.
Do you think this would be safe? If not, what would you suggest I could use as alternative hiding spots?
