I am connected to a wirless internet, and i was wondering can the person who owns the wirless internet view the websites i visit?

Yes. If you have connected to any network wireless or not if anyone on that network is running a packet sniffer they will be able to see every site you go to. They wont see what's on your screen but they will know your browsing habits.
