Hello. I have a pair of knee-high Minnetonka moccasins. Can I use these for hiking instead of hiking boots? Personally, I think they are cooler and more comfortable.
You can hike barefoot if you want too. Moccasins should fare well for light hiking but will never provide as good of support or protection as boots. I wouldn't recommend using them if you expect to encounter wet or rocky conditions.
