I live in California and will be traveling to Hawaii. Will I be able to travel before I get my warrant situation fixed?

Warrant checks aren't run for interstate travel. It's only if you travel outside the country, and even then it's usually only upon return.

I don't think "legally" you can. You can probably physically get on a plane and travel anywhere, unless you are on a flight restricted list. There have been instances where people are on game shows and it ends up being used as evidence of departure of state/authority. I would use caution and suggest you not go without permission. Contact a local law official in your area and ask them. They can make special provisions sometimes. Not always, but sometimes.
