Can i return a broken product to best buy with 2yr warranty and get money/store

credit? Ok so i bought sony xb 500s last Jan. 2011, i like them but the ear cup on the right side, the stitching is undone and the whole ear cup is off. The left side is ts starting to do the same but the headphones work perfectly fine. Can i go to the store ( i have receipt) and will i get a new pair, repair, or refund (money or store credit). Also will i need anything else but the receipt ( I don't have the packaging) or ID? ( i'm only 16 so no ID if needed)
