Hey all, im 18 and a very big fan of classic yank cars, i have a 74 montego mx brougham which isnt a muscle but has muscle features like cooper cobra's, cragar rims, holley 4160 carb and straight pipes, it is fast for a car that size as ino alot of camaro owners and stang owners would call it rubbish, this one is slightly different to the rest though, anyweys, i live in the uk and i have been going to crises with this car for a year now but there is one car tht goes to these cruises which i fall in love with, a 1969 coronet with a 572 big block under the hood, thing is, ive always wanted to buy a late 60's early 70's cadilac and fit a 572 under the hood, how hard would it be, i want something a little bit different, fit torque thrusts and cooper cobra radial gt's to it, something like a deville or eldorado.

1968-1974 All Cadillacs except Eldorado came with a 472 cuin engine. 1970-1976 Eldorados came with a 500 cuin motor. All but Seville came with 500 75-76. Even when they downsized in 77 the only went down to 425. The 68 472 was factory rated 375hp and 525 torque. The 70 500 was rated at 400 and 550. Not too bad for a factory motor so imagine what you could do with some new aftermarket parts (which are available). The Eldorados were FWD starting in 67 so swapping a chev motor into one of those is going to be a lot of work since they never made a chev motor to fit that transmission. The rest of the cars were RWD so much easier to do custom stuff to including wheels.
