You can't do that.

Verizon uses CDMA technology, whereas the iPhone is designed for GSM technology.
You can unlock it though, there's plenty of ways to do this.
Go to YouTube.com and look up "Unlock iPhone"

I have Verizon, and I am switching to prepaid so I don't violate thier contract just so I can have the iPhone.

Good Luck!

I heard that I could by an iPhone from an apple store and then i could bring it to Verizon and they could convert it to my plan at Verizon for $25. Does anyone know if this is true, if so can you give me directions on how to do this.
Thank You So Much
