can i buy a t-mobile phone on ebay and have it programmed and activated for alltel?

im under alltel, and want a t-mobile phone (black berry pearl 8130) from ebay (cheaper).

can i take this phone to an alltel store and have it work?

If alltel has a sim card and it is in your service frequency then yes... i just recently bought a motorizr for centennial from t-mobile and it works great... you can ask your service provider to be sure....
