BO2 on PS3: Why can't I join my friend's game session?

Every time I try to join my friend's game session, it says that I am unable to join it. Same for him. What's wrong? How do I fix this? I literally just joined his game session less than 12 hours ago and it was working fine. And now it doesn't work for some reason. Help?

Welcome to black Ops 2.
Everyone i know has problems joining sesions. Its because soo many people playin black ops 2 , they lagg the server , also try to plug your ps3 directly to your router.
