bmw 3 1996 anyway of opening the bonnet as the release cable has snapped?

Hi, please help me if you can, the bonnet release cable has snapped at the bonnet end and I cannot open the bonnet, is there any other way of opening the bonnet.. many thanks

Get underneath and you can get hold of the bonnet release catch directly with a long pair of pliers.
