Beginner Ballet for recreation?

Can I take ballet simply for fun? As like an after school thing? I don't want to be a professional dancer or anything. Just as a fun way to get active and do something with my time. I'm 13 by the way and since I'm 13 would it be too late for me to start? Because I've heard that people usually start ballet at an early age.Thanks! Oh! and I've NEVER taken ballet before!

Of course you can! 13 isn't to old to start and you can still even get good and enjoy it as a hobby the rest your life I would certainly not think you shouldn't try it!!
