I have a cable for my Xbox 360 that allows me to hook up my A/V to my computer screen through VGA/ DVI. The problem is that my LCD screen doesn't have any audio ports so i have to hook my sound up to a surround sound system.

These are the two speakers that hook up to the sub woofer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35499154@N08/3402827768/

Sub woofer:

Sub woofer hooks up to this volume controller:

The VGA cable for Xbox 360 system:

I am able to hook up the Video for my Xbox just fine, but how would i hook up the audio?

I have the same setup so I know exactly how to solve this problem for you.

Those 2 cables connected on the end of the VGA cable for the 360 are audio cables. If I am correct in my assumption, the blue cable on your subwoofer connects to the other speakers so all you should have to do is connect the Red and White inputs to the back of the subwoofer that I see in your second pic. That should give you Analog sound.

If I am incorrect in that assumption, then there are a few more possibilities. I can't tell a whole lot about what type of connections you have from the pics, but if the blue cable is actually a Digital Optical Audio cable, then this all becomes much easier. On the part of the VGA cable that connects to directly to you 360 you should see a small black hatch. If you flip that hatch open it reveals a Digital Optical port which you can connect directly to your speakers.

A third and final option (that is less preferrable) is to get a PC audio splitter that changes the RW inputs on the VGA cable into a PC audio cable that can connect to your speakers.

I've provided as much information and options as I can without seeing exactly what ports and types of speakers you have, hope this helps.
