I am wanting to flash the dvd drive in my xbox360. I currently have a lite on drive and in order to flash that drive I need a kit and probe. It seems that other drives are a lot easier to flash. Also it seems like it would be cheaper to buy a new (different brand) dvd drive than to buy this kit and probe. If I do buy another drive, can I easily unplug my lite on drive and plug in my new(different brand) dvd drive and play it as simple as that, or will this not work or require certain work to set it up?
