Are there any apps on iPhone where you can make "layers" of music and make songs?

I don't really know how to play anything other than trumpet. I wanna do a cover of Rainbow Factory with my friend, but we don't have any percussion or second piano player. I could do percussion, but I'm filling in for the synth parts on my trumpet and my piano playing friend is also doing vocals. So I need some app where I can make music with different instruments and lay them on top of each other. Does an app like this exist, or do I need to find two more bronies?

This depends on the type of iphone you have, to use this app you must have an iphone 4 or higher, or an ipad 2 or higher. The app is called garage band, it is $5 and it should be able to do most of the things you asked. Probably one of best things I have spent 5 bucks on.
