are sport bikes allowed on the freeway?

A Ninja 250 is allowed on the freeway, not highly recommended but still legal.

Depending on the state laws,
TX has a minimum speed that must be met (40 MPH) if your bike makes the minimum speed you can ride, even in stop and go 2 MPH traffic.

Why dont you ask those people who said it wasnt why it wouldnt be legal if the bike can do 60 mph in 5.7 seconds...

The Ninjette is more than capable and legal on any any highway in the U.S..
The Ninjette has been used by many riders on Iron Butt rides.
You can do one yourself and get a Iron Butt license plate frame for your Ninjette.
Ask the scoffers if they can do as well.
