I think we're talking those with a massive drive to be a political figure without having real ideological views on things. Just finished reading a bio on Clinton, and it seems he was always fucking someone or other, and politics just made it a lot easier for him. What did Clinton actually believe in? Well he had views, but often the views could easily be changed, with a few exceptions, it was always about having the power, and not about getting his views to change the world.
But I think say Obama of Dubya, neither of these two were in it for the sex. I don't know much about them, it's just the impression I get. To be president and have lots of infidelity scandals can be quite hard, they stay in congress where these scandals aren't as hard hitting.
