Earrings are not sinful in my opinion. Neither is makeup, or short hair and slacks on women. Some denominations forbid jewelry based on Paul's writings--that women should adorn themselves with good works rather than with gold or pearls--but I think he meant that metaphorically.

And I think it's wrong to accuse someone who professes to be a Christian, of not being one.

I wear earrings as accessories. I see no reason to consider it rebellious behavior before God unless it is very very showy or ostentatious. It is not the earring that is the problem, it is the motive behind wearing it. Does she want to be seen, you know draw attention to herself?
