Never going to happen, Jim has simplified things somewhat. The iPad is simply not designed to produce video in the same way as they do in a movie. Films these days are beginning to use digital technology, but it is based upon the same principles. Your iPad is lacking the following:
1) Focus control and depth of field control. Focusing is a key tool to change a dynamic of a static shot, the iPad has limited control but it's nowhere near a large recording medium.
2) No way of making the camera stable. The iPad has no mounting points to which you can attach a counterweight or a tripod or a dolly.
