Typically, I don’t like rookie quarterbacks in fantasy football. However, Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts is different. He’s one of the best quarterback prospects ever. He played in an NFL-type program in college. He has the size, speed and smarts to impact the game in multiple areas. Plus, with as well as Cam Newton did last season, it’s difficult to not dream about how well Andrew Luck may do in 2012 fantasy football.

Another big reason to like Andrew Luck’s chances to do well in fantasy football is the fact that he has Reggie Wayne to pass the ball to early and often. Reggie Wayne has been a star for a long time and knows how to get open. Austin Collie is another productive wide receiver on the roster. At tight end, Andrew Luck’s college teammate Coby Fleener should be a solid target.

What are my Andrew Luck fantasy football projections? I’ll go on record to predict 3,500 passing yards, 300 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns for Andrew Luck.
