Throwing a 4th of July party? Skip the beer and serve up some themed cocktails that are perfect for Independence Day.

Patriotic Cooler

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 oz. Van Gogh Cool Peach Vodka
  • 1 oz. Pomegranate juice
  • 2 oz. Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer
Directions:

Build all ingredients over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime.

Ingredients:


  • 2 oz Camarena Reposado Tequila
  • 6 large Watermelon Chunks
  • 1/4 Red Chili Pepper – seeded
  • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • Watermelon Slice Garnish
Directions:

Place watermelon chunks and red chili pepper in mixing glass. Muddle to release juice and chili pepper spice flavor. Add remaining liquids with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Strain into large rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with watermelon slice.

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 oz Blue Ice American Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/4 oz Lime Juice
Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a mini-American flag.

Red, White and Blue-berry

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 ounces Ketel One Vodka
  • 2 ounces Club Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Fresh Blueberries
  • Lime Wedge
Directions:


  1. Muddle 15 blueberries with a lime wedge and sugar.
  2. Add Ketel One Vodka and ice to cocktail shaker and shake well.
  3. Strain mixture into highball glass half-filled with ice.
  4. Top with club soda and garnish with blueberries.
Independence on Ice

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 ounce Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 1/2 ounce Orange Liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Meyers Dark Rum
  • 1 ounce of Chilled Espresso
  • 1/2 Inch Piece of Ginger
Directions:


  1. Muddle ginger in a cocktail shaker with the Orange Liqueur.
  2. Add Baileys Original Irish Cream, Meyers Dark Rum, and Chilled Espresso.
  3. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a pint glass.
  4. Fill with ice and garnish with a slice of Ginger on the side of the glass.
