We got this new tv from our dad but were trying to hook in our DVD player which is only a year old and nothing is happening. So I was wondering if this tv specifically needs a DVD player which plays Hi Definition.

I have a BT-300 Panasonic player with the 2.0 BLue Ray format. I am not convinced the PS3 is the best player out there. I have heard however that in playing regular dvd discs, the PS3 is the best upscaler compared to other Blue Rays which also upscale.

I have a panasonic SA-PT550 home theater surround sound system and i was wondering if i could replace the speakers with any over brand like yamaha etc.rather than having to stick with my PANASONIC is that possible if so what speakers would you recommend by the way i have a 5.1 set

i wanna buy a new LCD tv but not sure which brand to go for. im leaning toward a samsung or a sony but ive heard the other brands are pretty good as well.
...from my SAMSUNG BD-C6900? As I am not amazed with the picture quality. A lot of noise are on most blu-rays and I never got that when I had a cheaper Philips model. I am hoping a state of the art Panasonic will sort this? Please advise. Many thanks.
