from others? A friend and I want to backpack into the mountains and camp overnight a night or two next summer and it seems like the only way to do that is to be in national parks in close proximity to other travelers and tourists. Someone with experience and tips on this would be greatly...
I'm asking out of curiosity as it seems like most men like mountains better:) thank you:)
@justalaugh: what do I do? Sea FTW!:))...I love Summer, hot weather, beaches and sea, and my favorite vacation spot is Dubai;)
Last night I dreampt that I was driving a snowmobile (something I've never done) up big snow mountains, when I looked back and ahead, the peaks that I had to drive up were so incredibly high I feared I would not make it up the slopes. I always did but the slopes were extraordinarily steep...
I honestly don't care what people think, but I told some friends (black and white) that I'm going hiking in the mountains and they both said how black people don't go hiking. How are you going to put limitations on your life? Sounds like ignorance to me.
(I'm black and military by the way)
Hi, so last year I went on a hike by the santa monica mountains & there was like an old house that was torn apart and a little waterfall does any one know what i'm talking about?
I'm going to Morocco in May and am planning on travelling up to Fez from Marrakech. I'm planning on it taking me 2 weeks or less to do this. This is an itinerary I read in Lonely Planet which seemed to suit me. I'm flying home from Marrakech and would love to detour past the High Atlas for 2/3...
AT doesn't seem ideal for day hikes (just looking at the maps). With one vehicle you'd have to do an out and back and it doesn't look like there are a lot of places where it crosses a road, so your options would be pretty limited.
...wild life and shopping!? Heeey . . So I'm getting married to my fiance very soon! And for our honeymoon the original plan was to go to Disney World!!!
BUT, just found out I'm pregnant :) and so with all that money we decided to save it for baby stuff instead.
However, he said we can...
I'm going to the Gatlinburg side of the Smoky Mountains this spring. There are dozens of trails to choose from and having not been there before, I want to take the best ones! I don't care if they're a little tough, my husband and I are both pretty fit, but I want good views and scenery to take...
I'm thinking of going up there & getting lost or make people think that I'm lost ?
I'm not planning on getting lost. But wanted to know from others who may have been up there in the winter time ?
stay home? My dream vacation would probably be mostly outdoors. I like Colorado but will settle for some other places--for all the years I've lived in Texas I have yet to visit Big Bend.
I would rather not spend a lot of money, but I'm too old for tent camping, so maybe an RV rental would be...
ever heard of them? So, I have been trying to ignore these bump things on my baby girls butt, i thought maybe it was from the antibiotics, but they are still here 2 weeks later.
Picture a dime, put it on your babies butt, that is how large the bump is, and it is just raised up and has a head on...
Hi,
Me and my husband are planning the visit the Rocky Mountains on October 2nd & 3rd. We are entering the park through Estes Park entrance and first day staying at a hotel at Grand Lake. Our plan is to start from Estes park with some easy/moderate trails, cover most of the points of interests...
I'm looking for a mountain where I can hike with my friends.
I'm taking a 15 people van and I would like to hike and camp.
It will be most likely to be one night two days trip
Im wondering if there is any mountains about one to two hours away from Boston
where I could do that. For camping, I...
