A friend of mine has a 1999 v6 gmc jimmy that's burning rich he was told he had bad oxygen sensors and the check engine light came on now it's off I replaced the spark plugs and it was burning rich is there a way to adjust the mixture and do the sensors still need to be replaced?

Does any one know how much it should cost to change a timing chain gasket on a 1991 gmc sonoma? I've read a few sites that say $1400, seems a little high? Does the oil pan have to come off or can you just loosen the front of it?

I did a timing check on my 1994 gmc truck today and the timing was 9 degrees BTC is this to advanced? I'm not sure. The truck runs fine and was wondering should I set it back. Some one said 4 degrees is perfect for the 350 5.7 engines? Please help? Thanks
My temperature gauge is not working in my 2005 GMC Sierra, I have a code P0116. I replaced the engine temperature coolant sensor, but I still have the same problem. Heat works great, just would like to clear the code and get the gauge to work. Thanks in advance!
If I want to check the timing on my 350 5.7 I unhook the tan wire with black stripe.Then aim the timing light at the harmonic balancer. Then look at the metal degree tab with the light. Am I looking for the NOTCH in the balancer with the timing light? Its location? Thanks its a 94 gmc truck.
Started stalling like a fuel prob, so changed filter then pump and still no crank. Next autozone said engine control module then coil and neither worked cause theres no power going to the distributer or plugs. Help please gotta get it back on the road!
