Hi, I have an 88 Ford F-250 w/ a 5 speed transmission that we had to rebuild. It is a ZF 42 and we have tried to put it back together but don't know if the shift assist ball bearings face toward the shaft or away. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance!!
