I bought a 160gb Ps3 off of Ebay and now some people are telling me that the 80gb are better even though they are smaller because they are backwards compatible and they play blue ray. Is this true?? Does the 160gb play blue ray and is it backwards compatible or not?

I know that iMovie on Macs has this feature. I've tried myself to find some kind of backwards option on WMM but haven't had any luck. I'll be so disappointed if it doesn't exist. Anyone know, or have any tips that might allow me to get a similar effect?
