Shamrock was a fighter before pro wrestler, same with fry,. not sure about the others. But Lesnar is the best out of all of them. He's completely dominated all of his fights with the exception of the loss to mir
i don't know could you. Find an mma gym and start training hard for hours a day, everyday. and then once you and your instructors feel your ready to compete you will. Thousands of people train everyday, and never compete because it is very physically demanding, and takes alot of mental focus...
let him waste his energy and then attack, use leg kicks, use your jab, and make him work to try to attack you. once he's winded then go in for the kill.
i'd go with muay thai. In my opinion it's the best striking style to learn. I've got nothing against Karate, but muay thai is best in my opinion. Very good kicks, knees, punches, elbows, and use of the clinch to control your opponent and strike with knees, and elbows. Very Powerful striking...
because it's Mixed Martial Arts. It's a mixture of different styles. Full Contact Karate is full contact karate. Karate translates to "empty hand" but it's only one style. MMA is everything. boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, submissions, ect ect.
it's only as effective as the person using it, it's better to be well rounded in all areas of fighting than it is to be one dimensional.
Therefore cross training, or training for mma is the best training. MMA training consists of strength and conditioning, wrestling, kickboxing, and submissions.
krav maga isn't effective for MMA because Krav Maga is mostly techniques that are illegal in MMA competition. KM is great self defense, and street fighting style. For mma i'd go with muay thai, bjj, boxing, and wrestling.
depends on the person, some can excel quicker than others, you should add some wrestling into your game plan as well, because if your a good striker, and a mediocre grappler your opponent will just take you down and finish you there, but if you can develop a good sprawl, and take down defense...
i think it has the potential to be a great fight, liddell still has the skill to be a threat but i highly doubt he's ever going to get his belt back it would take a whole new chuck to be able to beat the top guys now, as for shogun if he shows up and fights the same way he fought against coleman...
