Find Mental Time Travel?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to finding information on Time traveling through ones body, by no means of machinery. I've gone through a few pages of google searches and all I could find was a bunch of people that claim to be from the future, things about black holes, and some articles about how we are better than apes. I'm hoping that someone can help me. I just know there has to be something like what I'm talking about. Two similar things I can tell you about, just to make sure you know exactly what I'm looking for are like the characters in "The Butterfly Effect" and "Slaughter House Five" that is the kind of time travel I'm looking for.
