Right now I'm 5'10", 16 yrs., 130 lbs. I am a tad 'flabby' with some muscle. I just started really working out. Here's what I've been doing:
I get up in the morning.
Eat a bowl of plain oatmeal,
make a big glass (2 servings) of Whey Protein from GNC,
go up to the health club,
drink half,
lift weights for 30 mins, do 20 mins of cardio,
then drink the other half.

Is this a good routine? I'm more concerned with gaining muscle than losing weight. Is it best not to do the cardio every single day? If not then do I need to increase strength training those days?

Dude u will look anorexic after that... If your really that tall
then there is no need to lose weight.
and guys dont like just skin and bone!

I've learned from experience that it's good to mix up your routine of exercise so your body will be capable responding better, my dad calls in "catching your metabolism by surprise." For example, one day walk for 30 minutes and the next day go to the gym and take a cardio dance class (if you're into that kind of stuff.) Also, I would recommend not living by a routine because that gets boring after a while. Hope this helps!
