if celebrities weren't so overpaid....?

Yes. They're ridiculously overpaid, and it takes money away from people who really make a difference, yet make no money... like teachers and social workers who really work hard and help people every day. They deserve a lot more, and so do the rest of us "normal" people.

No... because they pull in most of the money they get paid, by being in movies, publicity, endorsements etc.
If there was no celebrities, this money would not be pulled in and given out, so the economy would have less cash flow.
Also, they spend a LOT of their money- and there's a lot of them- so this in turn boosts the economy.

Probably. We have the money here in the US, its just that its unequally distributed. The rich are extremely rich and the middle class is, if this is not changed, going to be poorer, and poor even poorer.
I hope everything works out. God bless Barack Obama.

No. How would cutting someones pay help the economy. The celebs help the economy more than most of people here on answers.
