my moto razr battery has water damage and it still worked but one day i took it out with the phone on and now when i try to charge it it says charging battery but the battery doesnt actually charge. is there any way to save the battery???

No don't try to save this battery. It could have damage that you can't see and could be dangerous, such as leaking or even explode on you. Get a new battery ASAP.
