wrap help quiet the rasp down? I have stainless steel headers and they make my exhaust noise very raspy. The pipe used to construct the headers is thin and I suspect that is the cause of this. Would wrapping the headers in exhaust wrap help to quiet it down? Thanks.
It's the exhaust on an engine swap. I've heard it only with open headers, and the exhaust. Also on cars with the stock exhaust. I am going to have a resonator added but I dont know that it'll be enough.
Dual 2" into a Cat, then single 2.5" out to a magnaflow high flow muffler at the rear.

Did the sound change after installation of the headers? If so, did you also install a new, free flowing muffler or resonator to reduce exhaust backpressure? If not, yes, the tape may help.
