I am looking for a new home theater system to replace the one that I have now. I have a SONY STRDE197 receiver with two AIWA speakers in the front and in-wall speakers in the back that I will be keeping. Keep in mind that I need the new receiver to be able to accept outside speakers besides the ones that come in a box set.
I am looking to spend around 200-250$ and do not want something that is top of the line, but decent. Looking for something better than what I have now.
Not sure if I should get a box set or the receiver and speakers separate. These are the ones that I have looked at so far.

Not sure if the JVC receiver will be able to handle other speakers besides the one it comes with.
The Pioneer looks good as it comes with everything I need and I know the receiver will handle the in-wall speakers. I don't necessarily need HDMI ports even though I have a 360 and HD cable hooked up with HDMI's, but if the price is right, than why not.
