marriage ban? After prop 8 many say "the people have spoken" and that democracy chose and that is end of story.
OK..I can see that point

Would you respect a ban on straight marriage if let's say all the gays in the US move to a State, become the majority of population in that State and have a ballot question defining marriage as between 2 adults of the same sex only?
If marriage is votable that is legally possible.
*all previous straight marriage would be grandfathered in of course but no further heterosexual marriages could accepted by the State govt*
 
Yes i would. I´m opposed to any kind of marriage because i don´t think it´s appropriate for the law to intrude on people´s relationships in that way. There should be neither straight nor gay marriage and there should actually be a mass campaign to abolish marriage of any kind.
