My Blackberry Pearl is acting weird.. the keypad is acting up!!?

For some reason today (this has never before happened), the farthest right line of keys on the keypad (op, l, del, enter) are not doing their functions (for example the delete key doesnt delete.. instead it writes the letters c and z) and also the trackball moves but when i press it, it doesnt select like its supposed to and does something else.. ive tried taking out the batteries and putting it again, taking out the sim card and putting it again etc... someone help please!!!

sounds like the circuit board on your phone is bad. i'm not a phone pro but i do know that there are metal contacts on the circuit board of your phone that touches contacts on the underside of your keypad. if you were in the rain recently or spilled a drink on it, that's probably what made that issue appear. or it could be a software issue. sorry.

@frenchychiffon: Did you find a solution to the problem you had? The same issue started with my pearl yesterday. No clue what to do.
